About Sentinel Compliance Specialists
An independent product compliance consultancy, registered in Victoria, Australia, working with manufacturers, importers and brands around the world.
Who we are
Sentinel Compliance Specialists helps companies place electrical and electronic products on the market legally, safely and without avoidable delay. We cover Australia and New Zealand, Europe and the United States.
The business is led by an electronic engineer with 28 years of experience in electrical product design and R&D, including 15 years dedicated to product compliance and working directly with test laboratories, certifiers and regulators. That background includes designing digital and analogue electronic circuit boards and managing test laboratories for electrical and mechanical product testing.
That experience shapes how we work. We understand how products are designed, built and tested, so our advice is practical, specific to your product, and given early enough to save you time and money.
Why companies work with us
Technical depth
We know the requirements in detail and review test reports closely against them, going through the standard line by line where a report shows gaps.
On your side
We are independent of laboratories and certifiers. We represent your interests and manage the process on your behalf.
Clear answers
You get a plain explanation of what is required, what it will involve and why, before you commit to testing.
One plan for several markets
We plan Australia, Europe and the United States together so tests and documents are reused wherever the rules allow.
Confidential by default
Your designs, test data and commercial information are used only for your project. See our privacy and confidentiality policy.
Managed from start to finish
We handle the whole process for you: standards, testing, certification, registration and labelling, with regular updates on progress.
