A signed test report is not the whole story

Sentinel Compliance Specialists takes electrical and electronic products through safety, EMC and radio compliance, from the first standards review to the mark on the label, and checks that the evidence behind it holds up.

How we review

The laboratory can only test what it is told about

When a laboratory is not given enough information about how a product works or how it will be used, a test can be applied incorrectly or evidence can be missing, even in a report from a recognised laboratory.

Every report

Reviewed in detail against your product and its specification, checking that each relevant aspect of the product has been properly tested.

Where gaps appear

We go further and check the report against the standard line by line.

The gaps are found by us, before a regulator or retailer finds them.

Built on hands-on engineering experience

28years in electrical product design
15years in product compliance

Our work is led by an electronic engineer with 28 years in electrical product design and 15 years in product compliance. We read schematics and test reports, not just checklists, so problems are found before they become failed tests.

We act for you, not for the laboratory or the certifier, and your designs and documents stay confidential.

How a project runs

From first review to the mark on the label

  1. Review

We review your product, existing test reports and target markets, then confirm the applicable standards and compliance pathway.

  2. Test

We coordinate testing with accredited laboratories, reuse existing reports where they are accepted, and arrange only the top-up testing that is needed.

  3. Certify

We prepare the technical documentation and manage the certification or declaration with the relevant certifier or authority.

  4. Register and label

We complete registrations, confirm the markings and labelling, and hand over a compliance file you can show to regulators and retailers.

Tell us about your product

Send us a short description of the product and the markets you want to sell in. We will reply within one business day with the compliance pathway and next steps.
